Database restoration Steps:
1. Create a
database with the same name which was running earlier. e.g., if older
database name was ‘NSE9798’ then, the new database must be created with name
‘NSE9798’ only.
2. Download
the latest
‘licclient’ file from our site
‘www.shilpisoft.com’
in the
program folder and unzip it in the same folder.

3. Open
licclient.exe and go to menu ,
a window for ‘database tuning and import’ will get opened.

4. Select
the Oracle’s Version, either 8i or 9i/10g. Enter database name and Select
the DAT file of latest backup to be restored. Then click on button ‘Tune and
Import Database’. It will first tune the database and then import the backup
from the backup file selected automatically.
5. After
importing the full backup file, it’ll open the log file which shows the
status of the backup importing.
6. Please
check the log file of the backup import properly and if you get any message
like ‘Import terminated successfully with warning’ or ‘Import terminated
successfully’, please call to Shilpi support and show the log file to them.
7. If the
backup will get imported ‘without warning’ then please call to Shilpi office
and ask for ‘Database ID’ for licensing.
8. After
that, open licclient.exe and click on ‘Test i-Net connection’ button
and check for the message ‘Test Connection Successful’. If any other
messages comes then please call at Shilpi office and tell what exact error
is coming.

9. On
getting the message of successful test connection from licclient.exe, Click
on the menu ‘Product Activations’ and it’ll show a dialog box ‘Product
Activation (New/Re-Installation)’ window.
10. In the
‘Product Activation(New/Re-Installation)’ windows, enter following
information,
a.
Installation Type: Database Restoration / Fin. Closing
b.
Product: Product ID of the Software
c.
Database Name: Database name to be restored
d. Database
ID: Database ID taken from Shilpi Office.

11. After
inserting the all information, click on the ‘ ’
button. If any error message shown, please call to Shilpi office for the
solution. Else, It’ll show a message ‘Licence Request #nnnnn has
successfully Processed’.

Now the
database is ready for use. Log-in the software and now the database is ready
to use.
